Charming escape in Velez-Malaga 🇪🇸✨
Ja, no, the place is just beaut! Lovely courtyard vibe and Maria was super friendly at brekkie. The honesty bar on the roof was a cool spot to grab a drink, and we had a lekker time chilling by the small pool.
Only a bit noisy with those chickens, but you get used to it.

The hotel was special and peaceful, and the staff were excellent, loved the wonderful location near the beach bars in Torre del Mar Bar Tanit which did great Caprinhas and other cocktails. Everything was perfect as expected, nevertheless the bathroom was cold. The breakfast was exceptionally good and lovely with croissants, freshly squeezed oranges plus strawberries and had something for everyone. I came here for 1 night and had a wonderful stay.

Oh man, the honesty bar on the rooftop is a total winner! Grabbed a refreshing drink while soaking up the view of Vélez-seriously, can you say 'relaxation'? Plus, Maria's hospitality shone through, coordinating everything from parking to local dining reservations. What a treat!
Now, a cheeky downside, the noise from the street peeked into our ground floor room a bit. Even though it's a quiet area, the occasional chatter was like an unwelcome soundtrack to our stay.

A hidden gem offering beautifully appointed rooms that exude Spanish charm and comfort. The pool area on the roof is perfect for soaking up the sun in privacy, while the honesty bar stocked with cavas and soft drinks enhances the laid-back atmosphere. Breakfast served in the tranquil courtyard is good. The street access felt a bit unassuming, and finding parking was slightly challenging, which could improve your arrival experience.

The rooftop terrace with a plunge pool offers a fantastic private spot, perfect after exploring the town. The rooftop bar with its self-service honesty system allows you to unwind with a drink at your own pace.
Parking can be quite the challenge. You might get lucky finding a spot, but expect some frustration. There are also some noise issues. Particularly if your room is on the ground floor, you'll likely catch snippets of street conversations or the occasional truck passing by. The air conditioning in some of the older parts of the hotel can be hit or miss, potentially leaving you uncomfortable during warm nights. If you're looking for a substantial dining experience, be aware that you'll need to venture out for lunch or dinner, as the hotel lacks on-site restaurant options.
